Privacy policy

Effective date: 13 October 2026 · Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy describes how Slyic handles personal information when you use the SlyicTrack receipt-management app and related support services. SlyicTrack helps you capture receipts, extract transaction information, and organise receipt images and records in your chosen Google Drive account.

1. Who is responsible

The Slyic brand operates SlyicTrack. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact support@slyic.co.uk. Additional legal entity and postal contact details will be provided before public release where required.

2. Information the app uses

3. How information is used

We use this information to provide receipt capture, extraction, review, organisation, storage, retrieval, account access, subscription verification, usage limits, troubleshooting, security and customer support. Receipt images may be transmitted to the app's processing service and an external AI service to extract transaction information. AI output may be inaccurate; review it before saving.

4. Google Drive access

With your permission, SlyicTrack accesses the Google Drive files and folders needed for its receipt-storage functionality. Receipts and generated records are saved to your connected Google Drive account. You can disconnect or change the Google account in app Settings. Changing accounts does not automatically transfer files between accounts. You can manage or delete files using Google Drive.

5. Service providers and sharing

We use infrastructure and service providers to operate the app, including Google for sign-in, Google Drive storage and Google Play subscriptions; Cloudflare for application services and subscription records; and an AI processing provider for receipt analysis. Information is shared with these providers only as needed to deliver the relevant functionality. We do not sell your personal information or use receipt content for third-party advertising.

6. Legal grounds

Where UK data protection law applies, we generally process information to provide the service you request (contract), to maintain service security and reliability (legitimate interests), and where necessary to comply with legal obligations. Access to your Google Drive is based on the permissions you grant and can withdraw.

7. Storage, retention and deletion

Receipt files saved in your Google Drive remain under your Google account's storage and deletion controls. Slyic may retain account identifiers, subscription verification records and usage information while needed to operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Temporary processing data may be handled by service providers. To request deletion of Slyic-controlled personal data, email support@slyic.co.uk. Deleting Slyic account data does not automatically delete receipts in your Google Drive; manage those files separately.

8. International processing and security

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where applicable, we seek appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards. We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request portability where applicable. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

10. Children

SlyicTrack is intended for general receipt management and is not designed specifically for children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app and its services evolve. The latest version will be published here with its updated date.

12. Contact

For privacy enquiries, email support@slyic.co.uk.
